I have gone for what I think is the best approach, I address it because I've been asked by at least 8 players but I don't provide too much clarity

I haven't been wading too deep into things for game theory analysis because I'm not great at that sort of thing and I've been distracted with all the D&D planning... but the vibes are good. Which they always are after a big dust-up so I dunno why people were that worried.

Plus the general Positive vibe of the Steve Irwin Experience is exactly what's needed.

So things are good in my book.

Not a big fan of the whole "choosing to kill someone before the game as a meme" thing for a couple reasons but as long as it doesn't become a full on tradition it's harmless.

Yeah I agree, I don't mind the throw your first vote at someone as revenge thing and then move on. I personally do that. I don't want it to become part of the meta though personally

Yeah and it's not like it's a bullying thing or anything like that. It's just having ongoing meta gags like that can be off-putting to newer or sporadic players who already have enough new input to process.

But most of these people have a good sense of when a joke is getting run into the ground anyway that I'm not super concerned.

I think I got it a fair bit better, obviously the koala was really broken last time and then I just cleaned up some others minorly.
It seems to be playing fairly straight up so far, nothing untoward yet
