I'll admit, I watched an unhealthy amount of King of the Hill when I lived in SC. To the point I even went and bought a red Mack truck hat like Dale to put on a shelf (no idea where it is now.)

Just the intro catching up the past 20 years or whatever was very cool, so I'll be excited to start watching this again.

Whenever someone mentions King of the Hill, I tell them I literally lived that life -- my childhood was very much the same as Connie!

I got my husband into watching the whole show just last year. He loves Boomhauer.

We enjoyed the reboot of Beavis and Butthead and so far, we haven't disliked anything Mike Judge so I'm sure we'll be watching the reboot.

Damn; Dale, Luanne, Lucky and now John Redcorn
Damn, that's a lot.

Also whaaaaaaaat? The voice of Kahn and Cotton, and Dale after Johnny Hardwick's death, was Toby Huss a.k.a. Artie from Pete & Pete...

That's a career path.

I was just talking to Krys about this before I learned that he was gay. It was heinous ignoring that detail. To be gunned down in front of your significant other? Unimaginable. Period. To be gunned down in front of your significant other just because you happen to have the same genitals as them? It adds an entirely different layer of fucked up to this.

I personally don't care if there are people out there that don't like the idea of homosexuality. They can hate it if they want to. That's their liberty. I've known plenty of homophobic people, and people that will look a gay person in the eyes and tell them that they don't agree with their preferences. None of them would ever take that person's life, or disrespect that person in such a way that they'd move out of their home.

What I read here? That's not what I describe above. That's a whole different level of evil. Killing someone because of who they love? What. The. Fuck.

Not just killing them (which is pretty fucking evil), but burning their house down and killing their dog too.

I wish I believed hell was a real place so that there'd be a place these vile fucks could suffer sufficiently. Jail is too good for them.

I'm trying to find the video on YouTube, but I'm not having any luck. Apparently, he was present at a press conference for King of the Hill as an audience member and was not invited to be a part of the panel. Before it began, he stood up and began speaking about the arson and being victimized because he's gay. He was audibly upset, and eventually walked out of the conference hall while the cast of the show on the panel reacted pretty dismissively about the event he was describing.

I don't know why I'd be surprised at this from a show about rednecks, but... That's disappointing.

Yeah, I saw audience member filmed footage from the event on Facebook, but, I can't seem to find the same video on YouTube. It was definitely the same dude, though.
