Iron Maiden announcing 25/26 Run For Your Lives world tour

I was a bit surprised they announced this so early, given that they still have a North America tour coming up in the Fall. I'm seeing them in October but will definitely go to this tour if it comes back around.

It will be interesting to see what the setlist looks like because their current tour is very heavily Somewhere In Time/Senjutsu-focused. I have to imagine that SIT goes back to its normal spot of being ignored other than Wasted Years on the next tour.

I dunno how to feel about this… I’ve never seen them live, but, I’ve also seen a few recent pro shot videos where their age is clearly taking a toll. They’re among the greatest, and I would love to catch them before they call it quits, but I also wouldn’t want my first (and possibly only) time seeing them be a subpar show where I leave almost feeling bad for the guys for still having to drag their asses up on stage every other night.

If you get the opportunity, see them. As Eye said, they are still good! Last saw them in '22 and they rocked! Great energy. It looked like they were having a great time. Plus Bruce's wrist-mounted flamethrower was badass.

As others have said, I think it would be totally worth it if you haven't seen them before.

While it's great they are doing this tour, I also have seen them enough that I don't feel it necessary to go again. I would probably go if they come back to KC, but I don't feel the need to travel to see them again. Would be cool to see any songs I haven't before, though.

I imagine that this'll probably be the last time we'll get a chance to see them. With Nicko's playing affected by the stroke, and all of the dudes nearing 70, or having passed it. But who knows?
