I'm visiting Charlotte!

Flight and rental is booked! I'll be in Charlotte the end of this month for a long weekend.

The last time I was in Charlotte was just to fly out of the airport (was visiting Asheville).

My list right now:
Eat at White Duck Taco Shop
Meet up with my husband's friend's wife
Work out at a Charlotte orange theory studio

If you have any other suggestions on what I should do, where I should eat, please let me know!

Do you like baseball? Lots of minor league teams in that area.

Do you like roller coasters and/or theme parks? Go to Carowinds. I don't have any recs for food as I never visited Charlotte proper. Closest besides Carowinds was Hickory to the west, and even then I never sampled much food because my folks didn't eat out much and when they did it was always cheap places and chains (they're actual boomers, after all).

Also, Cookout and Bojangles is pretty popular out there for fast food. Cookout is like what you'd get if you went to a backyard "barbecue" with chargrilled burgers and the like. It's fine, but nothing spectacular. Definitely unique when it comes to fast food burger joints.
