How many hours a day do you put into gaming?

I probably play every other day for 30 minutes to an hour.

Extraordinarily YMMV based on what I've got going on. If I actually sit my butt down and fire up a game though, somewhere between 2 and 5 hours on week nights. Weekends are whatever I can get away with.

I can and do routinely go weeks straight without really doing anything, though. Especially these last 18 months where I have very little to pay attention to/care about with the 3 MMOs I keep installed.

I couldn't tell you per day, but I'll typically range 0-10 hours per week.

There are exceptions of course, like when I came home to play Lords of the Fallen or when I took off a week from work to play Elden Ring on release, but that's rare.

On the average weekday, I would say anywhere from 2-4 hours if I don't have anything going on. When I work from home, I can usually play for an hour in the mornings before work, and then it's pretty easy to do another 2+ hours at night, but if there's something good on TV (football, WWE, Survivor) I might not power through all night. On weekends, I would guess closer to 6-8 hours a day. I basically play 1-3 hours at a time, and do that in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Amazingly, I do leave the house sometimes, so obviously these numbers might go down to 0 some days, but I like being at home so I'd say more days look like this than not.

Also, I find it depends on what game I'm playing. When I'm really enthralled in a game, it's easy to play for 3 hours straight, but certain games are tough to play for more than an hour at a time. Usually, I'll just stop and do something else rather than trying to juggle multiple games.

It wildly varies, but not as much as I used to. I try to get an hour or two in every few weeknights. If there's a game I'm invested in, I can definitely get several hours in a week. If the wife is watching one of her shows, it's also a pretty good opportunity to play the Switch.
