I've noticed a few people with little icons under their name/GW Elder badge, mostly pizza one but I've seen a few others

How does one do that?

They are randomly awarded by staff, usually Mark. I've unofficially designated him as "BadgeMaster". Like, mine is my awful tribal tattoo lmao

Well, we plan on implementing some kind of badging for “achievements” here down the line, but for the time being I generally just create them one at a time. Tommy posted his tattoo and resurrected a funny, so I immortalized it in a badge in his honor. Alu posted his nipple in one thread, now it’s in every thread.

Get me the list and they’ll be executed taken care of. I’ve gotta tweak with badge permissions in the staff user groups. When I set all that up, I didn’t really have many badges assigned.

Edit - @shortkut , mods and higher have permissions to issue badges, but only admins can add them.



If you need a particular badge, I’ll need a .png with small enough dimensions to resize without distorting. Here’s the other stuff I’d need:



It can be finer tuned to be issued under certain parameters, but that’s pretty detailed and you’d pretty much have to give me a scenario and I’d tell you what I could arrange.

I do not recommend people posting their nipples here in order to get a badge.

Yeah, whatever y’all end up deciding on can be arranged. All I’d need is parameters or it would have to be manually awarded by a mod.

The whole parameters thing only really pertains to anything that would be automated… for example, a badge you get when you are promoted from a regular member to a veteran member after a predetermined amount of time. Winners, losers, championships, etc. would all have to be manually awarded and revoked, which would essentially mean it’s the easiest to set up… and either myself or a FOG mod or admin would have to issue and revoke them, which isn’t time-consuming at all… it takes a matter of seconds.

What if I reform myself

Probationary period. Must post every pizza you consume as proof that you’re sober from sin.

Absolutely, I’m all for expanding on the badges and stuff like that makes each member’s profile a little different… that’s why I’m making so many stupid ones and handing them out based on different shit that’s happening around the forums.

25x25 works best, can be a little smaller or a little bigger, but ideally no bigger than 32x32 and yeah, pretty much everything is fair game outside of the obvious

Done. I will warn you, though… it does present kinda small compared to the other badges, and the other one has that obvious-as-fuck Konami against our dark style, so it’ll definitely be ugly on the original.
