From my read through having just woke up. It would appear that everyone is umming and ahhing between TD being the Tough Guy or another role.
That said enough people appear to have voted for Local Hero based on TDs post, which all but guaranteed LH as a wolf.

Sorry I should be clearer with the syntax, the post by TD guaranteed LH was a wolf. It had no bearing on actually confirming that for the rest of us as we don't know whether TD is being truthful or not.

I'm leaning towards that too. Which doesn't confirm or deny TDs role obviously but does set a worrying precedent

To be clear, I don't think TD is lying. I'm not even saying he's wrong. I just don't see a path for him to have confirmed info through the game roles, so I think it's an accusation based purely on behavior. And he actually can't be detective, because it's on the strong villager list, so can't be random, and isn't guaranteed this game.

If you all trust TD's judgement and think that's a good reason, then I'm fine with it. But if you voted because you think it's a seer based check or similar, I don't think it is.

I don't buy TD being desperate. Aside from Kelly there was no heat on him.

every game I've ever played with him, the slightest pressure gets desperation. then he makes a bold assertion that he knows for a fact who a wolf is, and then it turns out he was wrong.

wasnt it in YOUR GAME that he called me the bad cop after I explicitly told everyone what I was and who was guilty? I pointed at TD in the ensuing chaos from my post, and him GUARANTEEING that I was mafia is what got him killed.

These two things sum up my feelings as well. Which inadvertently makes me want to lean on voting Kelly because I don't want to have someone overly aggressive trying to dominate information. That said, I do not have any believe he is evil at this point and it would be foolish for me to vote a townie because I disagree with the behavior.

So I'm going to vote Local Hero for lynching for now, but I have my doubts about TDs reasoning based on Kat's observations and claims. I just don't have a better logical candidate right now.

I tried searching "Local" to see who voted for him early/quickly and it brought up six pages of posts sooo who knows. The first accusation I found from TD was post 150 something, which supports my theory that it's a read-based accusation.

Checking voting history was a lot easier in a game with the librarian...

I think you can set those into three seperate groups.

Aggressive and potentially misguided: Kelly
Accused with minimal defence: Local Hero
Unclear role being relied on: TD

At this stage we are pretty likely to learn a minimal amount of things from lynching LH (not that we should walk that back because learning the little we will is better than nothing at all).

Let's say TD is right who do we target tomorrow? It would seem most people are settled on killing him if he is wrong.

To be honest I went along with TD's plan earlier because I was thinking a tough guy save made a lot of sense and lined up with what we knew. Kat coming out with the "actually it was me and I saved myself" information threw a wrench in there. It really means TD is either claiming another aura seer or he's going on day 1 vibes and then checking out of the thread without giving any other useful information.
