Adam Regusia did a video on this. You need like a pound of salt to make any discernable difference in the boiling speed of the water. Add salt for the taste, as it permeates the pasta. Might as well do it at the beginning, but makes no difference in the boiling point
Good to know. The more ridiculous "common" kitchen advice I'd heard was cold water boils faster which is....I mean..:censored:

Lol, yeah. Gordon Ramsay yelled at someone on Hell's kitchen for that one.

My logic is that cold water comes from the water system, hot water hits the water tank first, which might not be as tasty as straight from the city. I don't know if that even matters

I have to start from cold because like I mentioned in the water contamination thread, I don't cook with my tap water. It comes out of a office-style water cooler. Pain in the ass to fill up a pot to boil pasta in, but the water is clean. If I used the water from my tap a white film forms on the surface and clings to the pot.

Hmm yeah I was guessing it'd be small like a half degree but turns out way less. Haven't done that sort of calculation in like 20 years lol

I'm sayin it.

I seriously resent you all for turning this day into a Simpson's gif fest WHEN I'M FUCKING DEAD.

I hate you all.
You're dead! No commenting!

Because only one skip is in and people have more than 24 hours to change their vote. People have changed their votes a lot.

Timeline wise, we're not close to a lynch. Votes wise, we currently are, but someone can change.
I thought it was over in the morning? Didn't the day start last night?

I probably missed things because new posts show up while reading OLD THINGS AND IT'S SUPER CONFUSING..
Weird, @Crystal said she fixed that and it quit happening for me.

My problem now is that I think Raposa is a wolf and Benzine the RK.

By means of triage that means I have to switch my vote to Benzine
They're the only two claiming bodyguard though, of which there is definitely one. So probably one is lying and the other is telling the truth.

I've still not had it explained to me in a convincing way that putting wolves in jail is outright a bad idea
It's fine to put one wolf in jail if they're with a confirmed townie, so they can be killed. Putting a backup RK suspect tonight would be better though, so they can't use their kill tonight and take out a quarter of the town. Benzine is a top target imo if Rapuso turns out to be innocent.

Can anybody OTHER than Killface corroborate his claim in any way?
Zell confirmed it, which he really shouldn't be doing, but I'll take all the help we can get at this point.

I would appreciate it if some more of you would die. Fewer votes to tabulate and all.
Give me some more death potions and consider it done!

So who thinks I should take my shot during the night?
If you feel reasonably confident in your target, then go for it. We can't afford to be timid.

I think this myth exists because the opposite is kinda true: boiled water freezes faster than water straight from the tap, because the dissolved gases get boiled out of it.

I think you all have enough already but just in case, skip.
