I’ve given this some thought since being assigned my role. I am intentionally going to check people who I think are not wolves or the killer.

Good strategy but unless I'm misunderstanding, if you choose too obvious an innocent to confirm you may die too (if they are killed by wolves or solo). Right?

I wouldn't necessarily call the Medium a safety net. They could die before or before getting a chance to talk.

Pretty much what Alu said. At first I planned to announce who I was checking in case I die, but that would just make that person (and me) a target so that they’ll get a double kill.

Of course if I announce a clean check every day, that narrows the pool of possibilities so the odds go up each night anyway, but that’s just a risk I’ll have to take. Maybe with the help of other seers we can minimize that threat and it won’t even be necessary by endgame.

This actually did happen last game. Me and Jawneh were Red Lady and Medium and both died on the first night. He checked Kelly and found out he was a wolf, but I couldn’t tell anybody
