So, like, we're talking 4 pages that I didn't really read. I hit the notifications for Reactions/Quotes/Mentions, scrolled up or down a little on each (see above quote), and... that's it. If the phase is open until 9PM, I can do a thing. Probably a bad thing, but a thing all the same.

Based strictly on last night...

TD is claiming Fool. I couldn't make heads or tails of The Snap, but the rest was crystal fucking clear lol
Benzine is claiming Bell Ringer (not one of my guesses on your hint(s)...), and that TD is the real Illusionist

For Benzine to be legit, he chose to watch Tubby23 - a wolf suspect, with an uphill battle (entirely from my perspective, granted) - because he was correct about Tommy's wolf-ness. Lo and behold, Tubby died. This is... not implausible.

THERE IS, HOWEVER, A WRINKLE

If what Benzine says is true, then Local Hero was not the real Illusionist. Which means Ben imprisonment means nothing. Which means there are two current players that will show up as the Illusionist - the real one, and a disguised player. This on top of LH (Shaman/Fool) and FR (Shaman/Priest).

To believe for a second that someone like TD wouldn't be disguised if not the actual Illusionist is... misguided? It's risky, at the very least. With or without the Fool claim.

The idea that I may have been disguised and that prompted the wolves to come for me fueled yesterday's fever dream for a time, before working out that the timing - with regards to the priority list - between Illusionist and Blind Wolf just doesn't gel. So, there's that.

Uh... I had more thoughts, but I don't remember off-hand right now. :shrug


As for Alu, I'm not sure how I feel about us having two Marksmen. Presented with three options - two, really - he chose Tubby over Tommy. That's... not nothing, but it's not necessarily something either. More concerning, Marksman is also Unknown and has the same "plausible deniability" delay function built into it that caused me to, rightly or wrongly, suspect Dean of being the Alpha Wolf.

Imagine a world in which your Ritualist is so goddamn stupid she asked the Alpha Wolf to shoot himself. :shake

I tried think of some good plans, but either my noggin ain't working right now or there isn't anything other than crossing our fingies and toesies and hope TD is the real illusionist. Otherwise the town is 100% toast at this point. It would be between the wolves and illusionist and the town is just there for the ride.

Or TD is the fool and we all spontaneously combust as the fool is really an eldritch god who just wanted a chill countryside life, but we didn't want to leave him be like the fuckers we are.

Or TD is a wolf then err... Maybe we still got it? I'm not doing mental math for that as there'd be way too many new curve balls in play and heck. Illusionist hunt would still be on and that's something to worry about then and not now.

Good morning, what have I missed? The forum was down last night.

Just like to reiterate that I have seen that TD is the illusionist. Local was killed as one but can’t have been the illusionist cause then no one else would’ve shown as one to me.

Because the illusionist is alive and has a kill locked and loaded, really we should all say skip right now and don’t give them the chance to activate his kill on us.

But it is possible that TD isn’t the illusionist and has been disguised by a very lucky player out there (Vash, Dean, Alu, Kelly, whoever else I may have forgotten)…

But why would td look to act like the fool to defend himself? I feel like that’s what has happened since… and while I don’t know that local was the fool, I’m more than willing to bet on it.

But i see people mentioned murdering him at night? That delay leads to too many deaths. We are already on shaky ground.

There’s no real helpful info to help use facts for any of the remaining people after td. Personally happy with jawneh and raine (I assume everyone is too) but from there…

Yep, it’s never crazy hot here like the rest of the world gets. We have entered spring, which is usually wet. And I live somewhere very windy so spring can be crazy.

But it’s actually lovely outside today, I’m sitting in my oodie having a vape to start my Saturday of play station.
