I love when I have my entire Spotify catalogue on shuffle, and one of my favourite intros for a song plays (you know, the intros that are their own entire songs), and then the next song which isn't in anyway related to it plays and somehow sort of suits the intro that just played.

Mine tend to go the other way with that. You have this jarring moment. It's like eating something you thought was vanilla but it is mint. Sure you normally like it, but right now it feels wrong.

I will dabble tomorrow and have in the past, even owning a couple of greyhounds (leave me alone), but we used to feel the same. Aussie races much better... Our best horses go there anyway of course.

The trick is to not gamble.

Nothing wrong with not gambling, definitely the right option for most people. When I'm teaching the kids down at the primary schools about gambling I always make sure to tell them the most important part of betting is not betting, and make sure they all listen carefully to that before I give them their loot boxes.

I've always liked the spelling Cristina instead. It's one of the lesser know spellings. Most people ask C or K and they mean Ch or K. The craziest way I've ever seen it spelt was Krystyna.

If I could go back and do a nick name that everybody would actually call me by, it would be Xina. I had 1 coworker that would do this to my name when she left me notes for stuff because its like Christmas to Xmas. I thought it was cool. Also I'm an atheist so it would be more accurate.

It took me like 10 minutes to realize it was my own name.

Fun life experiences with my name. People calling you Christine or Christiana. Going to pick up Starbucks and how often there is another Christina there too.

I also did not know my name was Christina until my mom was enrolling me in Kindergarten. My family always called me Christy. When I moved from homeschooling to public school in 3rd grade, I decided I was going to be Christina at school, because it sounded fancier. Now I've only been Christina for so long, that its weird when my parents call me Christy.
