Capcom cares about only three franchises:

Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter

Even the fighting game collections they've recently been pushing out have some version of Street Fighter that isn't on the 30th Anniversary Collection.

The only Mega Man game I've played through was Mega Man X on my SNES Classic like a year a half ago, great game. Other than that I have vague memories of playing some of the NES ones, probably from renting them. Crazy how Capcom churned them out; I know there are like 6 on the NES.

As for the current track, no clue yet. Wasn't expecting that change up at the end.

They put out a Mega Man 11 game about 5 years ago or so? It was really good, too. They fucked the Mega Man X series into the ground with progressively worse games from X6-8 (some argue X8 isn't that bad but theyre all awful IMO).

They recently released collections for all the main Mega Man series: Classic, X, Battle Network, and Zero. I think there's a mobile game that makes cash so they've been prioritizing that.

Yep, it sounds like the last part of the up tempo middle section just before it transitions back to the slower tempo of the beginning/end sections.

I have beaten Mega Man 2 and that is it.

I played some of X, didnt hate it, just dont have the time. It is tough IMO, but fair for when it came out. Didnt like I couldnt shoot up and respawning enemies
