Anyone watch soccer (football for you non-Americans)? Watching the Gold Cup?

USA vs. Canada in the quarters is going on right now. Been a good match thus far, but nil nil at the half.

Mexico and Jamaica will face off in the semis, and the winner of this match will take on Panama.


For anyone who doesn't know the history, only 3 countries have ever won the Gold Cup. US and Mexico have combined to win all but 1, with the other being Canada. So the expectation is it'll likely end up being US vs. Mexico, but this is one of Canada's strongest teams ever.

USA is defending champion.

The US had a great goal to take the lead in the 88th minute, but then moments later committed a penalty on review letting Canada get an easy one back.

Canada has taken the lead with only 10 minutes left in extra time. Still time left, but not looking good.

US wins it on penalties 3-2. Matt Turner made two great saves in a row to start them off.
