the things to know about today's youth (at least, high schoolers) are that if its on netflix they've probably seen it and if it's true crime they probably know all about it (at least whatever tiktok or the netflix true crime series du jour tells them). when the dahmer series came out it was all they were talking about. since diddy's been in the news lately it's all they've been talking about. and now that that menendez brothers series is out they're talking about that too which is crazy since that was just before MY time
