There are others movies I really enjoy such as your list, but if I’m channel surfing and happen to come across ghostbusters or a Mel brooks film I’m stopping . Very few others could always get me to stop unless I’m in the mood

Serenity and Lord of the Rings are probably always going to be the first movies that pop in my head when I consider this question.

I feel that if I have to think about it, it's probably not a top favorite.

I had others come up after some initial thinking, like Iron Man, The Avengers, The Matrix, Wayne's World, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Lethal Weapon 2, X-2, and Casino Royale, but outside of Monty Python, I don't think I'd consider these my favorite favorites. X-2 has especially not aged well.

I love Dude, Where's My Car... because it is absolutely terrible, but so funny

This is usually a divisive opinion, but my favorite movie franchise of all time is The Fast and The Furious. I know they've gotten absolutely absurd, but that's what I love about it. I see them all in the theater. They're just the most entertaining thing ever to me. I'm not sure how I'll fill that hole once they're done making them, as there's nothing else quite like it.

I also enjoyed the latest Top Gun, it's a similar vibe, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again.

quite possibly. I regret that I left this off my list. Someone was channel surfing in the break room at work recently and I made them stop when they came across airplane even though I only had 2 minutes left for my lunch
