Movies Favorite Japanese movie?

What are some of your favorite Japanese movies?

I personally enjoyed Versus. It is both comical and has some amazing fight scenes that I haven't ever seen in a movie since.

Weathering With You.

That movie was extremely integral to getting me into anime.

Yes. I especially liked Akira.

 

[Excalibur]

Godzilla 1954 and Princess Mononoke. Though Godzilla Minus One was excellent and may be worthy of consideration when I get a chance to watch again.

Battle Royale. I love that movie. The sequel? Not so much.
