Unleash the Archers is a great pick! Eclipse is pretty cool too, though I have to admit that they came off as divas when I saw them.

Hah, that really doesn't shock me.

One day I'll get around to going to a full-blown, proper concert. It's not really my type of thing, but I've been to Distant Worlds (Final Fantasy orchestra thing) so there isn't much excuse. Probably less seats and more bodies! Would've definitely gone to one by now if a lot of the groups I follow weren't mostly stationed in Europe though, I reckon.

I have no earthly idea how popular they are, why I know of them, what possessed me to snag a couple of their songs - but they've been on my MP3 player/phone/stuff since like... 2008? -ish?

Sevendust too. And then I started hearing Sevendust on XM radio randomly one day and was like "wait, what..." Good times.

I’ve recently started to check out coheed and cambria. Man, second stage turbine blade is a really good album. I’ve not taken to Silent Earth 3 as strongly, but a solid debut that I’m kinda annoyed it took me so long to find.
I have spent way too much money on that band between road trips to various concerts and crazy collectors editions of the albums. Heck, my one and only tattoo is a Coheed tattoo.

Funny enough, the first time I heard them I absolutely hated them.

Coheed is the dude right? Never certain. I’ve tried to piece the story together but as an avid reader, poetry is just not the right medium for me to enjoy it fully. He (claudio) needs to ditch the graphic novels and pay a ghost writer. I’d deffo read prose books.

Coheed is the father, yeah. Most of the story is about C&C's son (also named Claudio).

The last few albums have had prose books (mainly written by his wife), which has been a nice change. But it also meant buying those aforementioned ridiculous collector's editions...

It's impossible for me to list because I heavily utilize Spotify's discovery tools and find new (current) faves all the time. So for now I'll put a mix of recent favorites and all time favorites and try not to stress about the ones I am forgetting đź«

Foo Fighters

Nothing guilty about music you like! 🙂
I only say that because everyone loses their shit when they see me jamming to little teeny tiny Lauren. They expect all metal. All the time.

… but those are the same clowns that lost their minds when Deftones brought them on their tour.

I've seen chvrches 5 times now and they have been good each time. I took my daughter (named Lauren - total coincidence) to their last show and she loves them too.

I feel they are going in a direction that I'm not a fan of but I'm still a fan.
I agree. Their first two LP’s I listened to were great, I don’t know anything past Love Is Dead for that reason.

Blink 182 is my favorite band of all time. I used to listen to Enema of the State with my best friend back in the day, we'd also play his PS2 with the TV muted and just chill. I also enjoy Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, All American Rejects, Iron Maiden, and Metallica just to name a few. I also enjoy deep classic house music so Mr. Fingers AKA Larry Heard's music is amazing.
