Absolutely incredible decision, and it's certainly a statement-making move by the team. I hope they're able to form a new entity somewhere or wind up in a new team, because they're talented people!

Unless there's stuff going on that we don't know about, I got the feeling from the article that it was mostly due to money.

Then again, it's been very rough for game devs for a bit now so who what the issue really is. Sucks a lot, as Annapurna has been part of many good games.

That’s what I gathered from a different article I read last night on Facebook, but it also mentioned something down the lines of creative control.

Either way, I’m with @Crystal … I hope this is a sign of the culture shifting for developers, and not the opposite where we see retaliatory actions against them.
