I've only done it when it was based on a book and I've already read through it all, just so I can see when certain things will be happening so I don't miss anything I'd otherwise look forward to.

My wife does it on anything she feels will be too scary if she doesn't know in advance. Also anything she thinks she won't pay enough attention to for understanding it (which helps me, since that means she doesn't ask questions while I'm trying to follow along myself).

Nah, I never bother to find them, but I also don't care if people spoil something for me. I still see it for the first time when I watch, so that's fine by me

I hate spoilers for any medium.

Movies, video games, tv shows.. life.

I prefer when things are a "surprise".

I don’t try to find spoilers. If there is something I really want to see/read, I will actively avoid them.

If it is something I don’t really care about, I don’t mind them. Even knowing that something occurs or someone dies, doesn’t take away from being surprised at HOW or WHY it happens

I love spoilers. I can't wait to find out and it doesn't ruin the movie for me at all. It just adds to my excitement.
