Do you visit pawn shops often?

Do you go to sell things to get extra cash when you're low on money?

Oh I used to a lot when I was on the hunt for games, and to sell off bulk titles for cash. Can't afford to these days.

I think I've been to pawn shops ~5 times in my entire life, and only two different pawn shops in total. All back in the mid-to-late 90's. Unless GameStop counts, in which case... I was there last month!

Never really had anything valuable enough to try and pawn back in the day, so it was just idle browsing/accompanying others. I'm, like, 90% certain I got my Sega CD and 32X together on one visit, and my Saturn and my step-father's Virtual Boy on another. That's also where my SNES Mega Man X cart came from, alongside my first boombox and the Street Fighter: The Movie Soundtrack that I still have for some reason.

I've only ever gone to some thrift stores, but I don't think ever an actual pawn ship. Maybe one day. I don't even know if there's one nearby.

Pawn shops seem like a fantastic way to get ripped off buying or selling...

Only ever to buy games. Rare I find any good games nowadays, but occasionally I do. They're not priced much better than ebay, however.

I don't think I've ever even been in a pawn shop although the amount of people mentioning games makes me think I'm missing out.

Some are fantastic. There's one near me where the guy gives great deals when you trade stuff in and has a big selection of games. It's worth popping in every now and then.
