That's where you and I differed - I sought, both intentionally and unintentionally, the psycho's. Took me a long time to realize I had a very destructive addiction. Even had a 'system' in place for handling the craziness without realizing I had a problem 😂

But...man...everything they say about crazy chicks (everything) is 100% accurate. And those trains are a lot of fun to ride on while they're rocking back and forth, threatening to go off the rails - so long as you can tuck and roll before they actually do. Which...I'd say is not possible to time until after the addiction has its hooks deep into you.

Now, though - I have the exact opposite, and it's a refreshing change of pace. Made possible by having a Facebook account (free) and barely any responsibilities or commitments (also free, financially speaking).

Don’t get me wrong, I went down that road for YEARS. After my daughter’s mother and I split and I got my head together, I went THROUGH the list. Every flavor I liked. Every flavor that caught my eye. Younger brunette acting up? Let’s go for a blonde my age. Blondie acting up? Time to go for an older redhead. Redhead psychologist trying to get in your head? Gotta get in her head to get her outta your bed. Redhead set the bar high? Might as well go for a younger blonde to offset and recalibrate. Younger blonde getting too attached? Time to move onto the brunette your age to stay grounded. I spent 6 years with a Latina before my current girlfriend… THAT was a rough one, the one that made me settle down with just the right amount of crazy… a redhead I already knew.

I’ve considered splitting threads like this… but… you remember how much fun that is, and I’m not trying to derail active conversations by moving stuff around.

EDIT - I went ahead and pulled all the posts that seemed like they fit with the dating topic and split them out. Great success. I don’t think I broke anything.
