After they announced the Marvel vs Capcom collection, some of us were wondering if/when Capcom would also work on the other fighting games in their collection.

This finally gives me a chance to play Project Justice and Power Stone 2. Two games that were pretty much relegated to the Dreamcast and were obnoxiously expensive in the secondary market.

I love that I'll have a physical copy of almost every Capcom released fighting game on the Switch by the time all these collections are done. I just wish the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was better.

Edit: This collection is slated for a 2025 release. No specific date given.

Power Stone 2 version confirmed to support 4 players (9 in a lobby).

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper is the "best" version of Alpha 3. It got 3 releases outside of arcades. The GBA Alpha 3 port was apparently based on Upper with added characters, but less stages. Upper also got a secret release on the PS2 Alpha collection. Then the PSP got a near arcade port of Upper with the GBA extra characters and a character from Fighting Evolution.

CvS2 is bringing the EO option but not the EO and GX -isms.

I don't know anything about that random final game.

Collection comes out on Friday. If you preorder you get a comic book just like the Marvel collection.

Even despite all the talk of increased prices due to tariffs and whatnot, Capcom is releasing this for 40 USD. Physical release is coming out the same time as the digital release. Hopefully it's actually physical like the Marvel collection was here in the US. Game Spot has a pre-order special on their site "Fanatical" where they're selling Steam keys for 20% off. The Steam version doesn't have the comic book and if you buy it directly on Steam, it's 40 bucks.

Worth noting that this contains all the updates they also included in the Marvel collection last month (as well as the first Capcom Fighting Collection.

I didn't buy Fighting Collection 1 because I don't have the time to dedicate to properly learning (or re learning) fighting games anymore. I used to absolutely love the genre (and made the national finals for Tekken 4 back in the day), but it's not for me anymore really. The additions of Power Stone 2 and Project Justice are really exciting for those who haven't played them, but I own them both on the Dreamcast already. So probably not for me, but it's a great looking collection generally.
