TV Shows Black Mirror - Season 7 (Netflix)

Y'all, I am halfway through season 7 of Black Mirror and I gotta say, FINALLY, a return to what made them wildly successful in the first place. If any of you have kept up with this show, then you would know that Season 5 was supposed to be the end. But, money talks, so Booker was convinced to do Season 6. And Season 6 was the weakest of all, with only two of the five episodes revolving around technological nightmares, and the other three just being horror.

I can say with certainty that this season reminds me of the OG seasons, they actually recaptured the magic. I feel that you can still do horror within Black Mirror, but it has to be about tech. Season 6's "Red Mirror" shit was garbo. We don't want Red Mirror, we want Black Mirror. And they actually listened for once.

If you watched previous seasons and enjoyed the show, I implore you to check out Season 7. I'm about to finish the last three episodes now.

The season starts strong and it's definitely delivering some good OG Black Mirror vibes for sure

It was a LOT even without being able to personally relate to their specific situation. I can only imagine how you felt.

Any of today's tech companies would jump at the chance to prey on desperate people like that.

I think the technology in Eulogy is kinda neat. I don't think I would mind that being used at my funeral... although the guide would be my cats and I don't know how helpful they would be it would be interesting to see people's memories of me from their perspective (but definitely NOT my exes!!!)

I told one of my friends that at my funeral I want everyone to be really confused as to who I was while living. Like was I a nice person or did I bite them? Maybe I was the Zodiac killer? Yes, I was a leader of not one, but TWO cults. One says : yeah she tried to introduce me to B because I thought he was cute but also turns out he was a gang-member..??? And someone else says: she made me two whole pans of homemade lasagna for me to freeze when I was dealing with a newborn. Just really wiiilldly different stories about me.
