A kind soul on Reddit aggregated 700 lists of the greatest games of all-time, and consolidated the top 100 in a list. I've posted the list in the spoiler below. A couple questions for discussion: (1) How many have you played; (2) are there any on your radar to play next?

I've played 42 of them. It's honestly more than I expected, although some of them I played at a very young age and maybe didn't have the fullest experience.

As for what's next for me on this list, I will definitely be playing Dark Souls 1 and Elden Ring. Mass Effect 2 is definitely a possibility too - that series is on my list for some point. I would like to play Super Mario Galaxy 2, but Nintendo seems insistent on not re-releasing that on Switch.

Some games on the list are either largely inaccessible to me today, or probably hard to enjoy in the modern era.

Played, I think 80. I certainly hadn't finished all of them, though.

I had The Last of Us Part II on my to do list but completely forgot about it since then. I missed a lot of the early Castlevania games so I've considered going back to play those, same with stuff like Earthbound, but I just find it difficult to get back in to really old games when they tend to look like absolute shit on modern TVs. The pixels just be so huge.

52 here. There's a few more that I've attempted to start playing, but if I never played it again after stopping the first time, I don't count it. Original Dark Souls, Resident Evil and at least one GTA fall into that category. Some others too.

I played 71. I didn't count games I played only very briefly. Of those, I probably played about 60 to the end. The remainder are mostly on my list to play. I even have a few of them sitting on my shelf waiting to be booted up.

The Arkham, Metal Gear, and Mass Effect games are probably the next to be played.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is DEFINITELY on my radar for next one ta play for sure when it comes out. I've definitely played #2 (last of us), #20 (Metal Gear Solid), and #43 (Snake Eater). I haven't and will NEVER play #89. Curse Abigail Anderson! I understand she was justified because Joel killed the firefly surgeon Jerry (who was to perform surgery on Ellie) because he was her dad, but I just wish it could've happened another way. Yes, Joel had to die for what he did, I'm just saying it should've happened a different way and maybe towards the END of the game instead of RIGHT at the beginning. It really messed most of us up to have to watch our guy die a horrible death because we loved him and his character and he was stricken over years of grief and just doing what he had to do to survive. THEN they make you play as his killer for half the game in order to get players to sympathize with her character when most of us were expecting to control Ellie for majority of the game. Now if that wasn't hard enough, I don't know what was because either way, this game totally changed every perspective of the expectations we all had for part 2. I still don't know how everything will turn out IF there's a part 3 in the works, but I got a bad feeling that nothing good will turn out in part 3. One thing's for certain: Abby better WATCH HER BACK...

I've played most, I've played at least a little bit of 75 of them.

Here are the ones I havent played, the only ones on the list I would be interested in playing is Majora's Mask & Grim Fandango, and maybe Bloodborne as I have read that some people who dont like the Souls games did enjoy it

Going back through, I think 53 that I played to any kind of completion, or long enough to count.
26 that I have played, but not all that much.

I did drop it to 79 total as I conflated RDR with RDR2.

I went through the list again and chopped off games I haven't at least reasonably completed, or played an extended period of time. Got it chopped down to 44. I say extended period of time as there's games like WoW, Overwatch, Civ that all never really... end. And games like BotW, TotK, MGS5 that I've "beaten", but there's still so much left to do there.

And I never answered the second question.

There's a couple on my radar. I have attempted to start Witcher 3, but didn't get past my first game session. Not sure anymore if I got bored or some other game got my attention. I do need to finish Super Mario Odyssey. I fault my self as I was trying to be too much of a completionist for that (same with SMB Wonder) and I burned myself up. And eventually I'll maybe get Elden Ring and play that.

Everything bolded I've beaten, except TotK, but I've sunk a couple hundred hours into that. I'll finish it some day.

I plan to play almost all of the games on the list eventually. I have The Arkham, Mass Effect, Prince of Persia, and Metal Gear games sitting on my shelf waiting to be played, so that's like half the remaining list.

The Witcher 3 has a very slow start. If you can truck through 5-10 hours (which is a big ask, to be fair), it gets much better. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite games of all-time, but worth playing.

It's my favorite game of all time, but I will never play it again. It demanded my total attention because of how dense it was for so long. So many new games take elements from it, and by far the best thing it did was make other developers put thought into sidequests. In W3, even the most random sidequest told a story, had a purpose in the world, and if it was merely a fetch quest, there was some kind of payoff adding to the lore, creating a moment, or just HAVING A GAME OF GWENT.

Also Novigrad is a masterpiece in city design that I have to see matched. It's massive, and puts every other RPG city to shame.

Yep! It is up there for me, but I dont have the time to commit. I played it when it came out, and then replayed it for the expansions, but I cant see me every playing it again. I have too many new things I want to play. I dont replay long games, though I may replay Cyberpunk 2077 as it has been a long time and the DLC
