I have not read the novels, but my wife has, and she said they did a really great job with season one. D&D do pretty well when they have source material, lightyears better than their own writing. Looking really forward to the next seasons of this show.

It came out on Tuesday and we already finished it (8 episodes). I thought it was time travel related but I couldn't be more wrong. I went in blind so my wife could see how I'd react to things, but I'm definitely able to put some pieces together for the smaller questions.

I highly recommend anyone that likes Sci-Fi to give this a shot.

We just started this yesterday but both of us were tired so we were like "wut?" I've been ambivalent about it but I guess we'll have to restart it this weekend now that someone else is recommending it. 😅

Wife and I watched the first episode during the weekend. Seems very intriguing so far. Maybe during the week before work we can watch one or two more before weekend again.

We were a bit scared in the beginning that most ornall of the show was going to be subtitled. I can stomach that if I understand some of the spoken language or it's something I really like. Sadly I barely know any words in mandarin. So good thing it cut into the London section after the... first event there.
