Also worth noting that the general consensus seems to be that Silksong is harder. While I'm only a couple hours in, this feels like an accurate statement. If you're unsure about the difficulty of HK, starting with the first is a good way to test that out.

In short, as HK fan: definitely play the first before Silksong.
