I kid, though I will tell you one thing you're doing that's actually wrong.

I notice you haven't bothered to pick up any Final Fantasy MTG cards. Well Jon, what are you waiting for, those cards beckon thee!
I hate to admit I've spend far more than I should have on a booster box and starter deck set... lol

I have someone who may sell me the 4 commander decks, but accepting card trade value instead of cash...

They did in fact, beckon me lol

I was trying to help a friend.

And nostalgia. I played on the Giants in little league for 4 seasons in a row.
Oh thats rad. I was a Giant my first season playing youth baseball but then after that I was a Rusty Catfish which sounds WAY too adult for a kids team

They didn't allow the Red Sox or Yankees as teams in my little league because everyone would fight to be on the Red Sox and be angry about being on the Yankees lol.

Wow.... so many and so young... too recently. Julian McMahon just passed of cancer too. Michael Madsden passed, but not of cancer. I'm starting to feel seriously old at 41...

less than a week to go to the trade deadline and I don’t even know what is going on with this season. Mets and Phillies are in a battle for the NL East, the Cubs have faltered which has lead the Brewers to take first. the Dodgers have had their struggles but seem ti be coming out of it, the Yankees seem to be on the verge of complete collapse and the Blue Jays are in first after struggling in the beginning of the Year. the Tigers after being red hot for tue beginning of the season are 1-9 in their last 10 and The Red Sox are somehow in a wild card spot. ebb and flow of a baseball season

history was made last night when Pete Alonso broke Darryl Strawberry’s record for most most home runs as a met hitting number #253 in the game vs the Braves. he also hit another home run later in the game and the mets snapped a 7 game losing streak thankfully.

unrelated but the mets have been so streaky this season. they look like world beaters for a few games and then they go ice cold and lose 7 straight games. they’re still in a wild card spot right now but if this keeps up they might not even make the playoffs and if they do they’re not gonna do anything in them

I can't believe the Red Sox have a shot at the division...

I was SURE they were toast after the Devers trade. I was positive negative regression was going to hit them hard after a poor trade deadline. But here they are, chugging along.

I want to say I'm impressed, but I'm a Red Sox fan. Depression with this team is engrained in me. I assume Mets fans feel the same.

It's super weird. My wife asked earlier in the season if she should get some tickets for later (she has access through work), and I said "they're probably not going to be that exciting. 500 ball is about where I'd expect" and then the Devers trade and I told her "lol nope, they're doing nothing"

And now. No idea what the hell happened, but it's fun watching this after having no expectations for the season.

I don't get to watch them, and I don't watch a ton of baseball anymore, but I've been following them and it's been fun to follow.

Went to Petco and Oracle this week! Oracle was exactly as I expected - beautiful, easy to get to, and all seats have good views. Very easy stadium to navigate.

Petco was nice looking and easy to get to but... maybe a little less interesting than I expected. The old building built into left is cool, but the rest of the park is generic if I'm being honest.

And as a Red Sox fan, having the Sox lose and seeing Xander Boegarts and Rafael Devers hit the only home runs we saw is kind of ironic.
