You played as the dinosaurs, and you had to collect all your eggs to prevent the cavemen (the titular Trogs) from eating them. I plays similar to Pac Man in that sense. The cavemen would create inventions to make it harder (fire, the wheel etc)


You can also transform into a Trex and eat the Trogs

I'm not feeling pedantic enough to make you be more specific, as you got the right franchise.

It is Dino Crisis 2!

Regina from the first one is still a playable character in this, but they added a second dude too. Regina is just very recognizable so I thought she'd make it way too easy.

Resident Evil but with dinosaurs was gold in my opinion. Too bad they screwed up Dino Crisis 3 by doing weird slug dinosaurs in space...
