I was working in the Electronics department at Target when those were coming out and it took everything in my soul not to buy every single one.

Huh... Damn. Familiar but not. I spent a while trying to just google for samurai games on what I'm guessing was PS3 but the character just doesn't fit anything I expected. No HUD kinda fucked me up too.

Maybe Way of the Samurai 4 with some costume?

That's what I thought the reddish armor was at first, but it didn't look supernatural enough for Onimusha.

I had a vague memory Vash really liked Dynasty Warriors, which could be way off, but this looks more Japanese so could be Samurai Warriors...

Still no UI is buggering up my guesses.

Looks too detailed and filled with items in the environment to be the first Samurai Warriors. I don't know about the later ones. I only played the first one and didn't enjoy it like I did with the Dynasty Warriors games.

Huh. I never played the 360 one, but the original Playstation Tenchu has to be one of my top games of all time. I just assumed they kept the main two protagonists throughout.

Rikimaru was such a badass he was apparently the inspiration for Kakashi in Naruto.

Multiplayer Tenchu sounds pretty tight though.

I took it from a 2014 video game montage. I avoided showing the dog because the dog seemed prominent in the clips.

Its a WWI themed puzzle/adventure game. I haven't played it yet, but I did buy it on the Xbox Live store before it closed on the 360.

Music and art seem to be standouts for the title:

Last night I was trying to think of the most obscure game I ever had, and the one I came up with might actually give @Smacktard some advantage, being a connoisseur of retro devices.

Bending the definition of 'video game' slightly because I wanna.

Hint: There was only ever 1 system this ran on, but the sequel did have an interface for Nintendo systems.
