I'd have suspected someone tried to off Vash on the first night, just because he's himand likely considered a threat if he's not on the wolf team. This would line up with the kill not going through if he was jailed with Fool's.

OTOH, I am rarely an early game target for baddies because they probably know theres a good chance I fuck up and help them out.

I'm like a reverse werewolf these days. At night I am pro-town and during the day I kill townies.

• It seemed Fool's implied something happened while they were both jailed, implying that the weapon was dropped and it was not used, but they talked about their differences in the jail-conversation.

Warden gave me a weapon. I chose not to use it.

• /!\ There is the possibility that Vash and Fool's are BOTH wolves and they just chose not to break out and kill the Warden. That would lead the Warden to assume they weren't capable of breaking out and giving them some long-running cover, over getting a single kill on the Warden. This feels like the kind of mastermind play that Vash might formulate.

This is a super cool compliment but I think most regulars in the game can confirm that I don't do "plans" or "think things through ahead of time" and pretty much flit from moment to moment like a drunk bee trying to pollinate an entire greenhouse in one night like Santa Claus dishing out presents.

This is why I want to know what changed for Vash to not suspect FR anymore - in my book, neither of them are cleared.

When I checked in during the waning hours of Day 1 I noticed there were 6 votes on Jawneh of the 7 needed. Fool's cast the deciding vote. Jawneh was a wolf. That showed me more evidence than literally anyone else has so far.

Of course I could see where that was just a ploy but him and Dean are the only ones who have let me peek at their cards so far.

And no - our Warden should NOT speak up.

So if he got a knife and didn't kill FR he's not a wolf either. In my head the only way what I said isn't true is if all three are wolves but that's a big lie to get twisted in and I feel like somebody should be able to disprove that

First question: I wondered the same thing and still am not sure. Only thing I could figure was they felt fine with possibly sacrificing Fool's to find out my true allegiance?

The other option is they thought Fool's was guilty and wanted me to kill him. But I didn't share that opinion and didn't feel like checking out of the game quite yet.

I was  ridiculously surprised they dropped the weapon for me because I was sure I was the more suspicious of the pair.

So there's an important distinction here.

Blue/red is Spirit Seer. Dean is claiming Aura Seer which sees Good/Unknown/Evil.

Vash not killing FR with a knife doesn't mean that FR is NOT a wolf, it means Vash didn't feel there was enough evidence pointing that direction to make the call.

We also have no way to tell if what Dean is saying is true or not because everyone is alive.

Again - no chance Vash and FR are both wolves or the Warden would be dead.

/!\ Also, if this was true and they remained jailed they wouldn't have been able to wolf-vote for anyone. With Jawneh dead there are 3/4 wolves. If the third remaining wolf is the Wolf Seer, they wouldn't have been able to vote by themselves, which would have led to no wolf kill.

The odds of this are probably so low, but if this ends up being true, holy shit.

I don't know what the odds are on Tommy getting the Cupid role again, but I guess weirder shit has happened. If he is, he'll know who he coupled, but not their role. I don't know what good it would do for the village if he revealed who he coupled though.

I'm pretty sure this is my first time being Cupid. I was the Fool in game 2 or something. But never Cupid until now.

There is no point to reveal the couple in my opinion. The two that I picked were chosen using one of these guidelines:

1. They are a funny matchup. Putting these two players together is not so much strategic as it is comical to see them work it out
2. They are a bad matchup. Putting these two players together is not strategic at all and I have no plans to win on the solo team.
3. One is active and one never is. Another sort of comical option but can also generate interesting results.
4. They are very powerful both alone and together. Putting these two together was intentional, with the intention of winning with the couple.
5. Newest player paired with veteran player. Putting these two together could help a newer player learn better strategies and allow the veteran to see things in new perspectives.

The couple will know which of these they are. And now they know why I paired them up.

I'll check back in like 5 hours after I drop my daughter at school, but probably won't have time to ponder more of this shit until later in the day.

If both Vash and FR are wolves it would make no sense to not break out and kill the Warden.

We don't know who the Warden is, there was no telegraph of who would be in there, and the Ritualist is dead.

Near zero chance they are both wolves.

However, they could absolutely be on different teams.

Let's say one or both of them were dropped a weapon and they used it.

- If they were both townies, the weapon user would die
- If they were on opposite teams, the weapon user would kill the person
- If we wake up to a townie murdered in jail, the Warden caught a bad guy

This is why I was going SO HARD at the fact it was faked. I knew that because it was just done, if anyone else tried to claim it, I would go after them relentlessly until they were dead. I didn't actually know if you were faking or not. But I didn't care. I believed it was fake no matter what. If it had not been for the wolf team lynching the fool, I made it my purpose to expose you. My head canon did not see it any other way.

I don't necessarily think Kat is bad because she's pushing for role claims in Zell's fashion. She said on two separate occasions that the strategy I proposed worked/would work -- if people bought into it.

I'm not in agreement that this particular game requires early role claiming for a town win, but I don't think her lightly advocating for it makes her suspicious.

After all, she voted for Jawneh.
