It's better to lynch nobody than a townie, but if we never lynch anyone, then we'll lose for sure. So, maybe? It depends if we think we'll have more info tomorrow or not, but there's no real indication we will.

Not really, because a townie death where you can see who voted for them is better than a townie death where you don’t learn anything

I've always been pro Day 1 lynch.

Lots of info can come even with death.

Yes. There's a risk of Fool but there's approx a 33% chance it even exists AND we have to choose wrong of 15 options.

Plus the wolves have ways to find the Fool so it may have them out themselves (it happened a couple games back).

Not really. Essentially you give the wolves two kills, only one of which is intentional, and is basically guaranteed to be something to stir the pot in some manner. Or they just kill one of the "big names."

Even if you lynch a townie it's normally worthwhile to see the who, the hows and the whys. Less so here with the poll.

I suppose that's true. I'm not sure how much we'll learn though, since both wolves and townies are likely to bandwagon at this point. And I don't personally have anybody I'd like to see lynched yet.
