Miles Morales was technically a side game. In the same mold that Brotherhood and Revelations were to Assassin's Creed 2.

I agree that Miles is more of an overblown DLC than a full sequel but to say the same of Brotherhood and Revelations would be a disservice to those games.

lol, doesn't make it untrue. Honestly, they're doing the same thing with Mirage. Mirage is a full blown DLC of Valhalla and Basim sucks.

And the change is voice actors is noticeably stupid.

Revelations was a full-blown game on its own merits, is my point. Even graphically a big step forward.

Not like Miles and Mirage which literally started as DLC expansions.

I see what you mean. I loved Brotherhood and Revelations, don't get me wrong. I just don't remember it that way, but I'm old and my memory is shot.

Miles wasn't horrible for what it was. Mirage definitely has a lot of fluff that clearly didn't need to be in there in my opinion.

And again, Basim sucks.

FWIW I remembered it the same way you did but last year I started playing through the AC series again and Revelations in particular surprised me in how much of a leap (of faith) forward it was.

Playing through Miles right now and, while it's still a really good game (with some slight visual upgrades due to PS5 vs PS4), it's basically just more Spider-Man.
