I normally enjoy watching the draft, but tonight was not one of those nights. The way the NHL has decentralized the format for this year's draft has made it such a fucking mess. Over 2 hours in and we're not even halfway past it. I had to turn it off, and it's such a shame because it's been one hell of a wild draft FWIW.

The Panthers for sure are having an effect on the league as well. The way that team dominates & suffocates the opposition with their relentless physical style of play is incentivizing teams to go back to taking a more old-school approach team building.

Toronto & Vegas working on a deal that will see Mitch Marner's rights traded to Vegas in exchange for Nic Roy. Looking like a sign & trade type of deal.
