Want to say Hi to everyone, just signed up this morning before I headed to work. I've always enjoyed going through the game database on the original GameWinners site but never really had a chance to be the community. This is nearest way for me to connect, didn't even realize this forum existed till last night going through some old Facebook Groups & Discord Servers Hahaha. The original site was one of the inspirations for me to found GameSquire back in 2006 and started a Gaming Encyclopedia and do updates in PDF formats, which I hadn't done in recent years due to some pretty large in-real-life changes. But I'm intending to go back to that soon as things settle down.

A little more about me, I'm a single 34 guy that loves all things gaming, and been born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. And currently working in a Bottle Depot full time for almost 5 Years, and pretty the rest was copy and pasted from my BlueSky account as a bullet point of some of the things I'm into :p

Welcome to the forums. It seems like you're doing a fine job finding your way around here, hopefully you stick around and join in on the absurdity that makes up our day to day activity. It's always good to see someone that didn't get to participate in the old community finally taken the plunge, you're one of a handful of recent members in that category.

Funny when I thought up the name during my Teens I had an argument with one of my parents on the word Squire means. Figured its time to whip out the dictionary to settle it. What's ironic is that we were both right ROFL

Where I defined Squire as
1. A man of high social standing who owns and lives on an estate in a rural area, especially the chief landowner in such an area:

My parent:
2. A young nobleman acting as an attendant to a knight before becoming a knight himself.

After thinking of what I aim for in use of the name in terms of my hobby for video games and projects, it works. For one I love collecting video games aka my "estate", and two I always thrive in learning in general and always like to share what I know.
