So the way I would take it, is your flag was in place before any attacks. That's why it is as high on the list. But if no direct attack ended up happening, it's not a failure presay, it just left your flag there. How do flags redirect shots? Anyways. According to the fine print. The flag only redirects direct attacks by bad people. So either Benzine can jump in and say he didn't see it that way and bail you out, or you keep looking all kinds of sus.

So, @Kat What kind of things do you do around the town here?

You are really not going to hear much from Kelly. Sorry about that. There's been this heat wave and this is a loop hole we've found to help get people out of the heat. So kind of him to volunteer for this.

...How many couples are in this hypothetical? Is there a polycule? Tommy is in love with marksman, and has his flagger redirect on Jawneh. So Tommy and the Marksman would be a village couple. But then how would the wolves know who the flagger is protecting here?

I re-read the Flagger role. It DOES specify that Wolf attacks cannot be redirected onto the SK.

BUT, it also says this:

Any normal (i.e., non-berserk) night attacks by evil/solo players against the protected player will be redirected to the targeted player.

Marksman shots do not get redirected because the Marksman is not EVIL.

Tommy is lying or Benzine really messed up. I'm keeping my vote on Tommy.

So the wolves are never supposed to be able to straight up kill the SK. If you go by the fine print, the flagger should not be able to redirect a good guy shot. Unless Benzine has said you can. Which we would need Benzine for and I'm assuming he's asleep right now.

This gives us plenty of time to discuss the several other people that don't even want to hint at what they do for a living.

It’s a surprise feature now. I could go back in time and do it again though? Fundamentally, nothing would change in terms of info that was gathered by this outcome (all roles that would say come alive would be known to be what they were).
