Maybe Jon got his wolf role and a fellow wolf decided on a sacrifice play based on a strat I think I've seen  you mention about coming out as a Seer role immediately.

Exactly my point. It’s why I was in full support of @Benzine rerolling everything and starting from scratch. I’m basically a farmer destined to see the down devoured by wolves or burnt to the ground

A couple things since I apparently like making lists today:

A) The downside to mislynching the flagger is much larger. Imagine you were a wolf here, and you had to face making a night kill with a flagger AND beast hunter claim out there.
B) Having run many of these games, it wouldn't be the first (or second) time that Tommy forgot to do night actions
C) He wasn't under any pressure when he came out with the flagger story, he just admitted it on his own.
