I like his stuff Today I Found Out and Biographics are solid. Dude has 15 channels and probably at least twice that number in staff.Simon Whistler's stuff:
- Decoding the Unknown: conspiracy theories and breaking them down, showing any truth behind them (if there is anything) and how it got to what it is today
- The Casual Criminalist: very sad & violent, it's a breakdown of major criminals over history (usually serial killers, but sometimes it's financial crimes and such)
- The others are good too, but those are my top ones (Side Projects, Brain Blaze, etc.)
Yeah those are two of the others I've watched. You can probably find something of his that you like, regardless of who you ware.I like his stuff Today I Found Out and Biographics are solid. Dude has 15 channels and probably at least twice that number in staff.
I used to watch his stuff. He stopped posting with regular frequency a few years ago.Gaming Historian
Not very frequent for sure, but he still has the occasional new content that goes out.I used to watch his stuff. He stopped posting with regular frequency a few years ago.
I will always take the time to watch someone breakdown why The Josh is a fucking idiot
- Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games: the game dev who created Kirby and the Super Smash Bros. series, formerly of Nintendo, now publishes videos that pull back the veil on what it's actually like to make video games, his advice if you're interested in making games yourself, and stories from the games he led development on. if you were following "Japan Time" during the Super Smash Bros. Brawl days (like i was), this is the channel for you.
- DaThings: do you know what a youtube poop is? do you like them and think they are funny? does sentence mixing impress you? do you, like me, avoid older youtube poops for fear of the terribly dated jokes that might lie within? never fear, DaThings is here. you may know her most famous video, 24601 Releases a Sammich on Parole
- iteachvader: more YTPs, but these are way more musical. get yourself some earworms from the old sonic cartoon. i recommend Hedgehog Stew as an intro
- Summoning Salt: speedrun history videos. need i say more?
- Secret Base / Jon Bois: do you want to watch a history of the seattle mariners that lasts over three hours? yes, you do. do you want to cry about former toronto blue jays pitcher dave stieb? yes, you do. do you want to watch a deep dive into a forum argument about how many days are in a week, or a primer on why 24 was the most insane show ever created? of course you do. maybe you just want to watch a heartwrenching study of every single professional athlete ever to be named Bob. as an intro, my fiancee recommends Section 1, a short (40 minutes is short for these guys) film about an NFL playoff matchup from the 70s where if the Steelers don't beat the Colts badly enough, people will die.

Yes to all of these. Especially Secret Base/Jon Bois. I love the one about Steve Bono's 76 yard stroll in the park for a touchdown with nary a care in the world nor a defender in sight.+1 on Summoning Salt
oh, related, The Gaming Historian is a good one.
