Complaining is a right of aging!I complain...a lot. I'm not even 30 yet. I'm in my last year of my twenties send help.
I’ve let nature run its course. The hair on my head is thinning, so it gets shaved. The hair on my face thickened over the years, so it does not. I like to keep it simple. My physical appearance has changed minimally over the years, just more lines on my face and way more grays.Discuss your new techniques for staying young.
I use hims by spraying it at the top of my head and routinely do this thing called "running." Trying to not look like a middle aged dad before I even become a dad.
I've got a beard now as well. And recently, before trimming it for my grandfather's funeral, my grandmother came up and said "WOW. You have a lot of gray hairs in your beard!"I’ve let nature run its course. The hair on my head is thinning, so it gets shaved. The hair on my face thickened over the years, so it does not. I saw one of my little cousins back on Father’s Day, and that’s the first thing they said to me… “Holy shit, you’re going gray” Well, no shit? You spend the years I spent getting shot at for little green rectangles of paper and you’d age a little bit, too.I've got a beard now as well. I'm balding too. Long gone are my curly locks of ginger hair, replaced with a solar panel.
Also it's funny that you're 29 when my old forums account would be turning 23 in November.
Mine would be turning...18 I think
UserID 22057 here .Yeah, mine would be 22 come October 1st. User ID 31984… of what would eventually end at around what @Crystal? You were among the last to see the admin panel.
Mark, haven’t you had a cleanly-shaven dome for a long time now?! Certainly that is the image I had in my mind!
There’s no question that I look older, but I feel about the same, if not more energetic than my teen self. I used to “hate exercise”, but these days I’m a reasonably dedicated runner. I also do a variety of “anti-social” things (as seen by society) which surely labels me as some sort of young delinquent… or so I tell myself. My neighbours definitely give me weird looks, send help ;_;
Nah, you're just one of those people that's ageless!During the last 20 years, I went from looking like I'm 12 to looking like I'm 12. But if you squint closely, my 6 gray hairs give away being 34.
I must sleepbathe in the blood of young maidens at night or something.

I hear that in today’s world… you can make a killing selling jars of young maiden blood bathwater.
I don't feel old. Quoting cartoons and playing video games makes you feel young even when you have kids and manage people at work.

Can confirm!turns out estrogen is great for keeping your skin looking lush and youthful!
Just before COVID hit I lost ~50 lbs and now I have an adorable niece and nephew of 2 and 4 respectively that I spend a bunch of time with, and they keep me active. I'm constantly crawling around on the floor, picking them up, tossing them about. Really helps lol.Discuss your new techniques for staying young.
Congrats on both events, losing weight is a great thing, and there's no question that kids are a great way to keep active, lol. oh I KNOW I'm on the downhill side. all I'm saying is my health is surprisingly good given my life. All you 30-somethings saying “nah I’m super good for my age”… hate to tell you but gravity already has the other shoe.
yeah but you're 5'4. you're lucky he didn't ask if you were even old enough to get a tattoo.I mean one of the other artists at the tattoo parlor yesterday was making a reference to something, looked at me and said "you're too young for this. What are you, 23?"
I still have people being surprised at my age. I still have my hair, I don't have wrinkles (yet), and my grays require looking closely. All you 30-somethings saying “nah I’m super good for my age”… hate to tell you but gravity already has the other shoe.
5'7. No need to make me shorter than I actually am.yeah but you're 5'4. you're lucky he didn't ask if you were even old enough to get a tattoo.
Rumor has it that Alu is actually 5'1".5'7. No need to make me shorter than I actually am.
I have like 4 different kinds of sunscreen that are just kept out in the open, including one specially made for tattoos.I've said this before (just not here) and I'll say it again (here) - even though it wasn't really a thing when most of us were kids, the big key is
s u n s c r e e n
(Especially if you have tattoos, are out in it for more than 10min at a time, are mole-y, etc.)
I'm in this post and I don't like it.I may look younger than I am, but I FEEL older than I am. The inactive lifestyle is not good on the body.
Don't need sunscreen if you avoid being outdoors...I've said this before (just not here) and I'll say it again (here) - even though it wasn't really a thing when most of us were kids, the big key is

Living in New York City is allowing me to live my 30s while feeling like I'm going back through my 20s except with actual money. I'm 33 now but nowhere near "settling down". I feel massively young riding bikes around every day, but then feel pretty old when I go to work. I work on the 34th floor of the World Trade Center, so going to or from work always feels like I'm one of those old-timers on Wall St. with the suits and the trains and the rushing around. But other than that, life feels way "younger" here.
WAIT, you get through life sober?I have a side-hustle that keeps me active/outdoors with the youngs.
Also my old kids run me ragged. Not drinking all the time helps too.
Stimulants, the secret is stimulants. So many coffee beans...WAIT, you get through life sober?
I still havent figured out that secret.
