In this game, you aren't voting to lynch anyone, you're voting to send them to jail. The person jailed is not immediately removed from the game, but instead is "put on trial" during the next day phase. Once jailed, they cannot use any special abilities until released from jail (be that by early release or being found Innocent). However, when on trial, you can feel free to role claim as much as you want to try and save your bacon. Otherwise, I ask that you refrain from any role claiming. Hinting, however, is allowed.

The minimum amount of votes to arrest a player will be roughly the number of citizens / 2.

A handful of players will be chosen at random as the Jury for each trial and they will decide if the player is Guilty or Innocent. Guilty players are killed and removed from the game. Jury Verdicts are decided by simple majority.

During each day phase you will also be concurrently deciding the next player to arrest (keep an eye on those juries).

~~~~~~~~~~
In this game there are 4 special Citizen roles, chosen from the following:
Citizens:
Lawyer: Once per game can release a Defendant from Jail, by contacting the Governor via DM.
Gumshoe: Each night, can investigate a player, discovering their role.
Good Cop: Once per game, at night, can arrest a player to be put on trial the next day.
Vigilante: Each night, can execute a player.
Judge: Once per game, during a trial, can either release a player or condemn them to death.
In this game there are 4 Mobsters, chosen from the following:
The Mafia:
The Don: Can only be killed by being found Guilty at Trial. There will always be a Don in the game.
The Consigliere: Each night can investigate a player, discovering their role.
The Cleaner: Twice per game can prevent deceased player roles from being revealed to the City at daybreak. The Cleaner will still learn these roles.
The Button Man: Once per game, at night, can kill a player at night, in addition to the normal mob kill.
Mob Lawyer: Once per game can release a Defendant from Jail, by contacting the Governor via DM.
In this game there MAY OR MAY NOT be a Dirty Cop:
Solo Player:
Dirty Cop: Once per game, at night, can arrest a player to be put on trial the next day. Once per game, at night, can kill a player. If they make it to the end of the game without being discovered, they win. If discovered by the Consigliere, joins the Mob and wins/loses with them. If discovered by the Gumshoe, cleans up his act and becomes a Good Cop and wins/loses with the Citizens.
VIGILANTE BEGINS
By
Vash T. Stampede
EXT. PIZZA ROLL STAND, SURFACE STREET --- NIGHT
Raining, Jawneh stuffs pizza roll into his mouth. Hands a banknote to the vendor. Jawneh walks down a dark street...
YANKED from the pavement, he's PULLED up between buildings, pizza rolls falling from his bag, UP and UP until face to face with...the Vigilante. Rain pouring off his black fedora. Holding Jawneh by the ankle. Jawneh is SCREAMING.
VIGILANTE
Who was with the Cleaner the other night?
JAWNEH
I don't know what you're talking about! I swear to God-
VIGILANTE
SWEAR TO ME!
The Vigilante DROPS Jawneh three flights down on a rope. PULLS TAUT- WHIPS him back up.
JAWNEH
(terrified whispers)
I swear I don't know what you're talking about, man! I just run an orphanage for disabled children. I'm not a criminal! I've got rights, cops can't just grab people off the street!
VIGILANTE
DO I LOOK LIKE A COP?!
From behind the Vigilante the roof access door SLAMS OPEN.
MOBSTER
Finally, we got ya you sick fuck!
The mobster OPENS FIRE, riddling the Vigilante with bullets. The Vigilante DROPS Jawneh, who FALLS to the alley below, breaking his neck in a hideous SNAP.
FADE OUT.
CREDITS.
END.
Jawneh has been killed by the Vigilante. He was a Citizen.
canadaguy has been killed by the Mafia. He was the Vigilante.
Feel like the vigilante voted as he did over the last couple of days for a reason wrt both Zell and Tubby. I'm going to trust that Zell is a citizen, in which case he is right: tubby cannot be. I know what I am, and that I want the town to win, and that i have only acted on that goal. Vote Tubby.
You mean conveniently after you logged in, locked in a guilty vote for your Boss and then let her free?
Buddy given the fact that I helped put her on trial to begin with, I was only ever going to vote one way on that.
I think yall were perfectly content to let FQ be burned if it meant the town continued to think the only person left was an impotent button man who used a night one kill. But then people gleaned onto you so it became necessary to stall it out more. Frankly speaking, I imagine cg woke up this morning mad at jawneh for holding up a big neon "please kill me" sign because his last shot probably would have went into you otherwise.
Also there is another possibility. Dirty Cop, it would be great if you let us know if Cole turned you on Day 1. That affects the calculus here. I’ll assume silence means that didn’t happen.
I think Cole died doing the best thing he could for the town
Haha we all put her on trial. I also voted guilty for her and then after your guilty vote suddenly she got released.
I imagine CG is quite frustrated he didn't target you as I suggested yesterday. He'd be alive and we as a town would be winning
These are the four that remain after Fire Queen dies.
And there are three special roles left: Dirty Cop, Mafia, and Unknown town (likely Lawyer). I know I am a citizen, so everybody else left in the game has a special role.
Here Tubby claims he’s a plain old citizen. He can’t be. Vote Tubby23
Someone took FQ off the stand yesterday, and I can guarantee it was not the good lawyer.
