Yeah - the speedrun thread made me think of this.

Mostly I watch on Twitch:
  • Andy (LTTP Randos)
  • MitchFlowerPower
  • Ryukahr

There's some others I sprinkle in here and there, but those are the top 3 I've stuck with for a while. I watch Mario 64 stuff that's been posted to Youtube, mostly from Simply (and taken from his Twitch).

Otzdarva for Dead by Daylight, BehavingBeardly for Sea of Thieves. Both on twitch, there's a few other streamers who's content I mostly only watch on YouTube.

Also here's a blatant plug for my good friend IRL, Kittasterisk, who's a vtuber for fun. Give her a follow so she'll buy me lunch.

I remember I was gonna make a thread for this when I was active and kept forgetting, so time to bump this old ass one. Only name in this thread I've watched/followed is Barry because I used to watch the Grumps, and aside from that I only recognize NorthernLion.

Short answer: UberHaxorNova (Twitch) and Gavis Bettel (YT) are my current favorites

Long answer:
When I first started watching Twitch streamers as a kid I found GoldGlove which led me to becoming a fan of VernNotice, who was my first favorite, but I rarely check in on him now. Super likeable and entertaining dude though.

Around like 2019ish, GTARP (particularly NoPixel) blew up in popularity and I fell in love with all those streamers. Started out watching ImmortalHD (now Aleks) at first because I liked The Creatures/Cow Chop, as well as the few RP streams Markiplier did. But eventually I moved on to UberHaxorNova and MoonMoon, who I think are two of the best and most entertaining RPers out there. I know it's not for everyone, but those guys made me obsessed with GTARP to the point where I watched almost nothing but NoPixel streams for a full year. As a fan of stuff like improv and D&D, I legit think it's one of the most entertaining things to watch online. Pretty good time to get into it too.

What I currently watch is the one thing that was able to pull me out of that obsession: VTubers. I know a lot of people hate them because they think they're cringe or something, but from my experience 90% of those people either didn't actually understand what a Vtuber is or were only exposed to the wrong ones. They're basically just normal streamers who would rather represent themselves as a character than show their face on a webcam, and they pretty much cover all streaming niches. When the Hololive English girls came out in 2020 I fell into that whole rabbit hole. I watch a wide variety of the english vtubers from both Hololive and Nijisanji, and a couple indies. My favorite is Gavis Bettel from Holostars. He's a jester character and is often compared to Jerma. Kyo Kaneko from Nijisanji is also pretty good. I think those two are some of the most accessible to people who have never watched vtubers because they're just like normal dudes who don't try to play a character or anything. Way too many good ones to list though.
