Hey friends! I miss this place and think of ya'll often. For new friends, I'm Toni, I was an SMod.. somewhere between 2003-2006 or something I think? and modded RPGs and Apple... I think I also took the Art forum when it was abandoned at some point. But perhaps what I remember most of all was changing. A lot. Of usernames.
JK, I feel like I was on the forums during formative years, and I lived in bum fuck nowhere so there weren't a lot of tech nerds there exactly (just farming nerds), so learning from you all was among my best and most interesting conversations and memories from that time.
These days I have less time to play games, but I still looove RPGs. Recently (by which I mean 100+ hours over the last couple pandemic years) played Death Stranding, which felt sort of RPG-esque with it's high levels of discovery and immersion. Also now getting the chance to see how games are made doing org development and production for a little indie studio.
