Multi SEGA Multi-game Announcement

Sega announced a bunch of new games from old IPs and shared some snippets of footage. Among them are:

• Jet Set Radio
• Golden Axe
• Shinobi
• Crazy Taxi

I'm most excited for Jet Set Radio. Those games are fantastic, but I have no way of playing any of the old ones anymore.

I've never played a Shinobi game, but the art style looks stunning. Gameplay wise, it looks like it reminds me a bit of The Messenger.

I'm most skeptical of Golden Axe and Crazy Taxi. Golden Axe tried a reboot around 2007 and it was supposedly awful. Arcade-style games like Crazy Taxi don't really make sense to approach from a big budget perspective, so hopefully they'll introduce some new twist that makes it more progression-based and diversifies the gameplay.

I heard about the Jet Set Radio thing a couple months ago. I've only played very little of... Future, I think it was, but it seemed fun enough. And the games have always been fairly well-regarded and had a decent following.

Distinct lack of Skies of Arcadia here though, Sega. You're still sleeping! Although I want a port/remake and not a reboot/re-imagining/spin-off.

Definitely interested in more Streets of Rage as well, though again I would prefer that to be in the same style. Although... a 3D brawler akin to Power Stone or, dare I invoke ire, The Bouncer could be very interesting in the proper hands.

I've played both games and they are FANTASTIC. I've been crying for a new game in the series for ages.

Skies of Arcadia would be great to remaster in the style of Baten Kaitos -- some nice "double speed" options to speed up some of the slow, grindy gameplay.

PSO2: New Genesis is also such a head-scratchingly baffling mess of a game, too. We're, I don't know, pushing 4 years into its existence or something like that and there's still... almost nothing there, really? I get that it's F2P but maybe stop pumping out weekly premium cosmetic items and divert proper resources towards creating, maintaining and (this one is huge) not instantly devaluing what does come out with seasonal events and other promotional giveaways.
