Basically turning something into a sprite-based game, something vaguely 6-bit, 8-bit or 16-bit being most common even if the colors and such aren't actually in spec and the game wouldn't be able to run on the console(s) in question.

It’s an awesome store! Lots of cool retro stuff… it’s at that mesa/Gilbert/chandler border.

I follow them on the Facebook and they’re always pulling great games in.
