No I don't play it.
But my friend has a concern with her son, and I know NOTHING about the game.
Does the game store chat history? or game history? can we see who he's chatting with?
Okay, so my kid was into this for a little bit, and the insight that I’ve gathered about it is fairly rudimentary and dated so some aspects could have changed.
Chat history is accessible only from within the account, same with game history and the users he’s in contact with.
Parental controls do exist that can speed bump him, but aren’t fool-proof and do not roadblock.
Most illicit contact is made by reaching out on the in-house chat and acquiring other social media platforms from there.
With that said, she needs to get that device in her hands and then skim through the settings in the game, the permissions the game has from the device, and any cross-communication between users of the game and users on other apps or similar games.
There were knockoff games advertised by in-game players years ago, one for Roblox “porn” for example… they appear as similar apps on the device and most often have a designation as a third-party app… not from an App Store or Play store, bypassing their standards and practices department.
In regards to social media contact, obviously the only way to make those discoveries is by cross-communication, which isn’t easy unless usernames match or the linguistics are clearly identical.
And yes, I am just now replying to this because I’m going through putting prefixes on all of the threads so I had to read each one and see what prefix went with it.
