I think the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl. These guys are too damn good. I think only the Cowboys are as good this year in the NFC. Philly and GB have an outside chance.

I don't think the Chiefs are going back to back without a decent receiver....

Never said the Chiefs specifically but you can't rule them out - what I meant is the quality of the AFC overall feels higher than the NFC.

The overall AFC quality is probably higher, but I think the 49ers may be T-3 in the league

The AFC is deeper across the board, but the top of each conference is pretty similar. Arguably, the NFC is looking better this year between the 49ers and Cowboys (and I wouldn't rule out the Eagles, even if they've been a bit slower to start).

The top teams in the AFC all look weaker - Bengals might not recover this year, Chiefs offence is sputtering, and the Bills are really volatile. The wildcard for me is Miami. If Tua can stay healthy, they'd be the scariest offence to face.

I always draw conclusions early in the season. For example, the Raiders, Broncos, and Chargers are gonna be bad this season
