I don't know what I like more: this thing Vash and shortkut started or how much it tickles you for weeks and weeks. This is my favorite thing ever.

I can't explain, it's the absurdity of it. There is an actual topic at hand and then Vash just comes out of nowhere, which then obliges shortkut to comply with it. It's almost like an art form.

I see this meme all the time, and when I do, always imagine that somewhere there is a guy who didn't notice the stair color at first because he went down them (they are only painted on the side, not on the top parts that you step on), and then realizes that he forgot something inside the building so he turns around to go back and sees the colors for the first time and is like: "oh no... oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh noooooooooooo!!" And spends the rest of his life sucking dick while crying. All because of those fucking stairs.
