I am talking specifically about his baseball accomplishments. There is more than a few absolutely horrendous people in every hall of fame. It's never been a deterrent for qualification to recognize their on field accomplishments.

You're welcome to hate him, and I won't argue that, but on the field, he was one of the most prolific hitters of his generation AND all time. He was also a superlative defender. And it was his gambling that kept him out of the hall when murderers, dopers and about a bajillion other people are in halls of fame.

Just keep Clemens out and I'll be happy.
