In a poetic fashion, as the dearest Vashtina is coming to my home state of NY, I am about to be heading over to Florida. Also this month. Like in a couple weeks.

Now how about that.

It is going to be me, the wife, and both kids. One of the wife's friends is also coming over from... forgot where, but nearer to Florida than NY to also spend time and hangout. We got a neat AirBnB for us. I think we decided on staying for 5 days. Why? I'm electing to not share why, since that is not my business, but it's a good thing. So no worries.

We'll be in Deerfield Beach area, just north of Fort Lau. There's going to be a good amount of just chilling around as the house is very nice with potential activities just there. There's a couple places like a butterfly museum we'll most likely go to. Beyond that, just whatever each day brings, and how things go with the main reason of going there. Just also happened to turn into a vacation as well.

I'm prone to do silly stupid things, but rarely dangerous stupid things. So I'm doubtful it'll be anything news worthy, but definitely worthy of catching facepalms and eye rolls from the wife.

The only thing I saw somewhat nearby that I don't have is a Trader Joe's. I want to go check that out as a filthy tourist. I'll try to get to at least one local pie establishment as well. The friend coming over likes to cook so we might end up having less opportunities to go out to eat than we originally though. All good though if the food is good.

Only if it's a local. How they got some tourist involved in it, what madness!

Thought like Nae explained how it would go, there's a good chance the gator would also get stabbed. Then the following day we'd be back at it drinking like nothing it was nothing.

It's a weird cultural thing in general. It's not that uncommon still to hear on the news that folks got drunk and someone got stabbed during a normal sauna night between friends or neighbors at their summer cottage. As far as I can remember, folks rarely died, but of course their were cases. Especially since the cottages would be in the middle of nowhere Finland. Now, is any of that any better than gun based violence that today's cultures are dealing with? Not really. To me though, drunken stabbing still seems like that's a normal happenstance at least when it's between folks who know each other.

Weird tangent. Back to normal Florida man escapades.
