Man, this one hit me hard.

Being a huge Star Wars fan since I was a kid, this man was a big part of my childhood and life. The voice of Darth Vader was so powerful and a big part of why Vader is one of my favorite movie villains all time.

Not to forget voicing Mufasa, portraying Thulsa Doom and many other roles.

Rest in peace, legend.
This fucking sucks

His presence in film preceded most of our lives, but, somehow he was still EVERYWHERE when we were growing up. From the decades as Darth Vader, to The Sandlot and Lion King, and even the old Bell Atlantic commercials us American kids got bombarded with in the 90’s.

Extremely sad, but at the same time I've grown too used to celebrities that I really like dying far too young in recent years. Feels to me like a death we should mourn, but a life we can celebrate.

Agreed, he’s fortunately one that got to live a long life compared to so many others.

Eddie Murphy Punishment GIF by Coming to America

All time great voice and actor

Coming to America was criminally underrated. It got buried in the other work Eddie Murphy was doing at the time.
