What are you doing and how are you preparing for your weekend? What's going on?

Today will be a cruisy one. Already eating lots of food and having a couple of vapes, will be emailing some family for Xmas preparation (hosting at my house for the first, it's the first time one of the kids in my generation have hosted Xmas and I'm gonna show everyone how it's fucken done).

Then, it's also the first Saturday of watching the NBA. Then I'll go to bed.

Then, Rugby World Cup final tomorrow morning, NZ vs South Africa. Will be boozing badly.

That’s the view from where I’m sitting right now. It’s a lot different than what I’ve been used to seeing, so I’m still in awe of it all despite how simple it appears.

I've just taken the dog for a 90 minute walk. Home for breakfast and starting my preparation for cricket.

Nice trip to the coast for a game, team is 3-0 hopefully 4-0 by tonight

I just ripped up a ton of concrete and tomorrow I'm installing a new exterior door and putting a small entry deck on my house.

I'm already sore. But I'm making short ribs and mashed potatoes right now!

It's Friday evening here in Texas. Just finished dinner. Sitting on the couch with my husband and both the orange cats. Have to get my gym clothes together for tomorrow morning. It's Hell week day 3 of 4, we're wearing spooky socks. Then we gotta take a cat to the vet and also pick up another cat to pet-sit. Then going down the street to hang out with some friends and hopefully win the costume contest.

Friday evening here, settling into forums for the night and tackling some projects.

Today I carved jack-o-lanterns with my girlfriend and her kid (these are mine and hers).



In the afternoon, I had a THC gummy and read for a bit. Then I went over to her house for dinner, and we watched that British baking show with her neighbor and wife (which we all do every week).

All in all, it was a fun, relaxing day.

I would say the same about Arizona, lots of beautiful places to explore, but definitely if anyone comes, only do so in the winter! Makes the exploring tolerable

Northern Arizona has a lot going for it, Sedona, Strawberry and Prescott are gorgeous! Southern AZ has a lot to offer, too. Tubac, Bisbee, Tombstone, all really great places to visit (Tombstone is a bit touristy, but it's still nice to explore)
